• Our coop range features superior, slow kiln dried A-grade timber. This process helps your backyard chicken coop stand up against the harsh Australian climate for longer.

• The Penthouse™ weighs three times more than other coops you’ll find on the market. Our strong and durable timber allows us to comfortably offer you a full 12 month warranty.

• Your Penthouse™ chicken coop will arrive at your door in natural timber, ready to be painted however you like! Giving your Penthouse™ a coat of exterior grade house paint will provide a protective and long lasting finish. Make the Penthouse™ your very own by styling it your way!

Dependable Security

• The Penthouse™ features strong 10mm x 10mm galvanised wire mesh on all ventilation and sliding bolt locks on entry points to help prevent predators, snakes and vermin from bothering your hens.

• We suggest adding Wire Mesh Flooring, an Auto Door Opener, and a Predator Sensor Light to keep your chicken coop well protected from any neighbourhood nasties.

The Penthouse Coop is one of our most flexible coop and chicken run options that suits 2-10 hens.

Yes, the hutch is not square, but you can swap the side panels and use the run in the other direction if you like.

Whilst this is possible, for $749, we find that most customers need the chicken run in times when they are away for long weekends or holidays or in the event weather is poor and they need to secure the flock for longer than expected. The chicken run gives you peace of mind, knowing that your girls not only have a secure hutch, but also room to roam safely behind the walls of the chicken run. The run comes hinged and can be setup to be 1, 2, or 3 metres long.

The Penthouse™ hutch comes with handles on either side of the hutch for easy moving. Simply detach the run and move them separately and secure back together once in place. Whilst it is easy to move, most customers choose to keep it in a fixed location because they can setup a secure foundation for additional security. The misconception is that chickens need fresh grass, what they actually need dirt to dust bathe in order to keep clean, therefore keeping the coop in one location and layering the ground with hemp bedding is the most ideal setup!

Yes! As there is 7m of perching space there is ample room for up to 6 standard hens full time, 8 bantams or 10 hens if they free range daily.
