The Polish chicken breed is quiet and calm, but can become timid if not handled regularly. These birds are best suited to those who have a bit of experience with chicken keeping, as their crests may need maintenance if too prominent. While they don’t tend to go broody, they are not prolific layers, gifting you about 200 eggs per year. But what they lack in egg laying power they make up for in good looks and charm.
