Wyandotte

Wyandottes are a docile, dual-purpose breed kept for their brown eggs and for meat. They appear in a wide variety of color patterns, and are popular show birds. Wyandottes are a favorite amongst backyard flock owners for their dependable egg laying, easygoing nature, hardiness, and the great variety of beautiful feather patterns available.

FEATURES

Wyandottes are a fairly large chicken with a round broad body shape. They are a fully feather chicken with a deep breast and backside which means for the hens, they are good layers. The Wyandotte has yellow legs, red ear lobes and reddish eyes.
