The annual Good Food & Wine Show made it’s way to Melbourne on the weekend, and by all reports it was a hugely successful (and delicious!) weekend, with Melbourne foodies out in full force.

If like us you are partial to a nice red and slice of brie, Cheese Alley and the Riedel Wine Theatre would’ve been your pick of the weekend. The cheese masterclasses and wine tastings were a popular choice for many guests, swooshing and tasting their way through some of the country’s best wares.

Coffee appreciation with Nespresso was also a popular choice for showgoers to warm the taste buds, with an appearance from celebrity chef Justine Schofield making the experience even more worthwhile. Pairing your coffee with a macaron from Adriano Zumbo’s masterclass made it extra sweet!

There were a number of big name chefs showcasing their culinary skills on the weekend, including Matt Moran, Jacques Reymond and Sammy & Bella, who whipped up one of our favourite treats, Bella’s Murray River Chilli Salted Pretzels with dark chocolate, and some super funky pulled pork tacos-yum!

Those wanting to get in the thick of the action traded their tacos for aprons and learnt how to recreate authentic italian dishes at home thanks to the Casa Barilla Cooking School. While others chose to feast on already prepared dishes from the huge range of food trucks found in the Grazing Garden, and taste tested wares from our best regional producers.

We can hardly wait to experience all of the goodness at the upcoming Sydney Good Food and Wine Show-we’re salivating just thinking about it!  Make sure to visit us and say hi, and follow all of our prep leading up to the big weekend online.
